Spring has arrived in Georgia!!!

Which means a few things.

1) It’s warm, but the humidity isn’t here yet. Yes!!

2) There’s SUNSHINE. So much sunshine.

3) Daylight Saving Time = extra hours of sun in the evening.

Joy is the theme for this season for me…and so is adventure. Here’s a little snippet from what I’ve been up to outside the office the last week….

Leadership Track jumped in Adventures’s swanky
15-passenger van and had a fun day. We played volleyball
and ultimate at a park by the lake and then got ice cream.

Eating outside in the backyard for our weekly roommate’s dinner
has become a normal thing. We brought our table outside
one week, and this last week, we had a picnic on the lawn.

I went to Alabama for the first time and celebrated
the wedding of one of my best friends from last semester
of CGA. These two women in these pictures have been such
an integral part of my journey here in Georgia, by the way.

On our way back from Alabama, we detoured off to Rock City on top
of Lookout Mountain, GA. The lookout point let’s you see 7 states,
all at once! Also, this little detour of ours took us from Alabama to
Tennessee to Georgia, back to Tennessee, into Georgia again then over
to Tennessee once more before finally coming back to Georgia.
Confused yet? Yes, I was too.

Our Rock City detour also happened to include a
St. Patrick’s Day festival, bag pipes, and a bit of exploring.

My California heart is so happy in this sunshine and good weather.
Here’s to coming alive again after the dead of winter.
